For the first time in the history of 4SR leather pants we use our patented A.F.S. – Armor Fixation System^® to secure the 3D-shaped knee and shin protector. The protector is not just placed in a classic pocket nor fixed permanently. It is stored in a separate inner “sock” that is sewn into the leg but is not directly dependent on its movement. In this construction the protector is height-adjustable according to the rider’s body.

The combination of separated fixation, 3D protector shaping, ergonomic cut, and flexible panels above the knees ensures that the knee protector stays exactly where it should be – during active riding as well as when taking your foot off the footpeg. There is no need to constantly adjust it after every dismount or movement in the saddle.

Another improvement comes with the redesigned extension in the lumbar area. The rear part of the pants is higher, more comfortable, and connects better with the jacket when fastened with either the short or the full-circumference zipper. The result is a more secure connection, greater comfort in a forward riding position, and better coverage of the lower back while riding.

The RR Blue AR is cut from 1.2 mm thick cowhide leather and engineered for maximum freedom of movement with pre-curved shoulders, sport-cut sleeves, flexible leather panels, and large seamless aramid stretch zones. If you’ve ever experienced the problem of an unzipped suit sliding below your butt when walking around the paddock – we’ve solved this for you. One-piece suits have a small snap button on the inner side of the main zipper flap to hold the zipper pull in place.
